Sorry for not reporting back, this one probably got buried below a pile of
other issues and work somewhere early this year.

The original post was about many more things than just bookmarks and they've
been implemented and used fairly intensively. I'm using the zoom in button the
most as the font size setting apparently isn't remembered.
I've been using the bookmarks option for quite a while but I have to admit
that the last years I got used to accessing the online docs using a "real"
browser so I have no particular wishes here. I see no need for Octave to mimic
a web browser, the basic bookmark feature as it stands and actually the entire
doc pane functionality exactly fits my needs.
The only real wish I have is that OF package docs can be added but IIRC
there's already a bug report or feature request for that (it's quite an old
wish at that).

Anyway, thanks again for making all of these things possible.
