Details:
In RHEL 8.3 linux, Aspire E 15 (E5-521-25P9), AMD laptop. Octave 6.2.0 in
/opt/octave-6.2.0:
Those eleven number pad keys work neither as digits nor as arrows and are
completely blocked in Octave. NumLock works but its light goes on and off with
no effect. In other programs number pad keys work.
I have tried to look into ~/.octaverc, but it contains two paths that don't
exist in my directory tree:
1 addpath('/opt/zmat-master/octave/linux64/private');
2 addpath('/opt/jssonlab-master');
petr@localhost:/opt/octave-6.2.0$ ls -lah /opt
drwxr-xr-x. 5 root root 73 Apr 19 22:10 .
dr-xr-xr-x. 18 root root 251 Jan 29 14:59 ..
drwxr-xr-x. 2 root root 34 Apr 5 14:40 franz-5.6.1.appimage
drwxr-xr-x. 8 1337 1337 100 Nov 9 2020 julia-1.5.3
drwxr-xr-x. 14 root root 4.0K Apr 19 22:11 octave-6.2.0
neither paths suggested by "man octave" exist.
