Follow-up Comment #39, bug #59820 (project octave): The reason for the the compilation no longer failing when linking the libraries is probably *not* due to the changes for bug #60567. It's more likely related to this change: https://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/b4cb9d04f3cf That added "-undefined dynamic_lookup" to the linker flags on macOS. So the libraries no longer complain about the missing symbols. I noticed that -DOCTAVE_API and similar flags are missing from the compilation commands on macOS.
