Follow-up Comment #8, bug #60482 (project octave):
if our graphics obects were classes, it would be trivial to check if the
string is a property of that class. Otherwise, I don't know if there's a way
to get a list of properties without actually making that graphics object. with
that list a simple strcmp against the list would do it.
