Follow-up Comment #5, bug #60420 (project octave):

That's what I saw as well.  Building the docs hung, and I had to suspend the
'make' command because Ctrl+C wouldn't kill it.  Then I had to kill -9 the
'make' job.  Since Octave was built by this time, I could use run-octave and
that's where I found that I couldn't exit from the interpreter.
