Follow-up Comment #2, bug #60294 (project octave): @ Mike Miller: Thank you very much for hinting me to symbolic package. I did not know that. I would agree with your conclusion if factorial of 19 would be wrong as well. But it is the correct number verified with julia language. And the command int2str(2^1000) with more than 300 numbers shows the correct numbers till the last one. (I am solving problems of projecteuler.net) So there might be a something more fundamental problem.
