Follow-up Comment #4, bug #60122 (project octave): Whoa. The behavior is even stranger than I thought. Editor saves the file. The file is actually saved. A second editor will prompt me for reload. Modification icon does disappear. But then Octave runs an old copy of the script. If instead, I press the Save button and then press the Save and Run button, the corrected version of script runs. That's what I've been doing as a workaround.
