Follow-up Comment #12, bug #59846 (project octave):
Having separate keyboard and mouse focus would make Octave different from any
other software I know. That would be very confusing imho.
The file browser widget responds correctly to keyboard input for me. E.g.
hitting a letter key moves the focus to the first file starting with that
letter. I'd rather keep that feature.
