Yes, and also the various individual files in the same directory that have the
same name as the tests: xls-default, xls-poi, …
Each of these files contains information about the test, the most important
being the command-line to run the test, which in the present case is a call to
octave-cli with appropriate command-line parameters. In particular, all those
various tests are executed in independent octave processes.

With this additional patch, all XLS and XLSX tests now pass!
However, there is still a problem with ODS files using the OCT interface, that
was introduced in the previous round of patches. I attach the corresponding
build log.
