Follow-up Comment #15, bug #59277 (project octave): I tested the supposed fix a bit further with the real dataset that I use in one of my projects. We can ignore the section in which I propose to apply regexp to the complete string cell array. It doesn't work. So back to the solution I previously proposed. That too works with my formula test sheet (Excel2019 stringTest2.xlsx). I can't think of a situation where the output of the regexp would be a cell array with multiple indices. The proposed solution simply takes the first index, which so far seems to work in every test sheet I have tried. As far as I can tell, the bug report bug #51512 doesn't seem to provide any reason to think this may not work. Philip, do you have any examples which would yield an output of the regexp with multiple cell array indices? _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?59277> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
