Follow-up Comment #66, bug #58953 (project octave): Here is a patch with proposed changes for the tests. It's more code than I would have liked. Basically, the changes are: - Add tests for END in subsasgn expressions (previous tests only considered subsref expressions). - Do not call subsref or subsasgn with an empty index structure. I noticed that this is not valid in Matlab.
