Follow-up Comment #3, bug #59173 (project octave):

Maybe not foolproof, but this might be a good place to start:


octave --eval '__octave_config_info__ ()' | grep scratch


It would be nice to do something similar for mkoctfile but I don't see an easy
way.

Incidentally, there is a message in the code that LFLAGS is to be removed in
version 7.1.  We should make that change on the development branch right now
so that we uncover any problems with the change well ahead of the release
date.
