Follow-up Comment #13, bug #58926 (project octave): https://octave.org/doc/v5.2.0/Trouble.html @OP and @Kai: I recommend that the problem be documented in the Octave manual rather than the wiki. Would the above location be suitable? The problem occurs outside Octave's code base so perhaps calling it "Known Incompatibility wth MKL" would be better than "Known Bugs". I don't know enough about MKL to represent that it affects only Debian-based systems. @OP: regarding the test suite failing, could you include the excerpts from test/fntests.log showing where Octave crashed when used with MKL? Please do this for both cases, without and with the export technique.
