Follow-up Comment #3, bug #58544 (project octave):

Apparently support for "uiframe" style was dropped at some point.  There are a
lot of problems with the code here.  First, at object creation there is no
detection that uiframe is unsupported.  Second, the qWarning () call from Qt
is not sending any messages to stdout.  Because of the multiple errors it took
1.5 hours and using gdb to step through the code to even get this far.
