Follow-up Comment #54, bug #57439 (project octave):
Markus: We do need to remove the call to canonicalize_file_name in
find_private_fcn. Instead of that, we need to fix function handles to do the
right thing when the underlying function has been cleared. I'm working on
that but not done yet. Investigating this issue revealed a number of other
problems with function handles, which led to a nearly complete rewrite of the
octave_function_handle class. I expect to post something about it all on the
maintainers list soon and will also comment here when I do.
