Follow-up Comment #43, bug #57044 (project octave): Same here. Thanks jwe for pushing this one. This solves the issues of the OP and in my private build environment [1] things are getting easier as well*. * Because each local clone of the Octave repo still required internet connection (and time) to pull the hg subrepo or ugly patching/hacking.
