Follow-up Comment #1:

Matlab is a moving target.  Every release they seem to be moving functions
between different packages or renaming them.

There's no philosophical objection to this.  If you can make a changeset that
would be helpful.  Mike Miller maintains the signal package so you might want
to reach out to him at address@hidden about the best way to do this.
