After using bisection for a while, I find that this changeset is involved.

summary:     eliminate promptflag from the lexer and input reader classes


This may not be the only changeset involved, but this is the first changeset
where typing a comment line definitely throws the interpreter in to expecting
additional input lines, rather than simply ignoring the comment and returning
immediately to a numbered prompt.
