Follow-up Comment #3, bug #57305 (project octave):

Regardless of licensing issues, if there is a problem with overloading
functions for legacy classes I'd like to see if there is a relatively easy fix
for the problem.  Can you provide a self-contained test case that does not
rely on the vpi code?
