And another change that makes the error message for "version -java" more
verbose:

If invoking Java fails, the error message now reads e.g. "no usable Java
Runtime Environment (x86_64) found:" followed by the caught error message
(most likely from the "dynamic_library" class).

Is this enough to fix this bug?
