Subject: [Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #57199] [octave-forge] (optim) lsqnonlin in version 1.6.0 fails with Octave 6.0

Follow-up Comment #3, bug #57199 (project octave):

For me, with Octave-5.1 and optim-1.6.0, 'test lsqnonlin' succeeds.

For what I know, 5.1 is the latest release of Octave. The development version
is a moving target. What changeset do you mean by Octave-6.0?

Unless I've missed a feature freeze of octave-dev or a call to test with the
packages, I'll probably have to put looking for the cause of this bug off for
later -- the bug may well be due to a preliminary or incomplete change in
octave-dev. Or are you aware of a certain change in m-code interpretation of
octave-dev which inevitably will have to be cared for?
