Follow-up Comment #25, bug #57049 (project octave): I think we're on the right track here. Just need to figure out the right way/place to translate the @INTL_MACOSX_LIBS@ autoconf/m4 macro into an environment variable or literal string that the downstream build steps can see. (Not sure if I'm using those terms right.) It might also be that this should go into liboctave/module.mk as @INTL_MACOSX_LIBS@ in this little bit: %canon_reldir%_%canon_reldir%_la_LIBADD += \ libgnu/libgnu.la \ $(LIBOCTAVE_LINK_DEPS) I'm attaching a couple different patches to try out the various methods.
