Thanks Torsten,

looks good now. That such a small fix makes so much difference.

The window titles of subpanes now are the pertinent variable names rather than
"Variable Editor" so the chances for confusion are limited IMO. In Matlab it
is largely similar so we're a bit more "compatible" now.

I think this bug report can now be closed. It can always be reopened if
required.
