This works for me with Firefox 60.8.0esr.

Can you verify that it's the page footer that is dumping this text for you? Go
to https://octave.sourceforge.io/footer.html, which is embedded at the bottom
of every page on the Octave Forge site.

Please test with all add-ons disabled to see whether it is your local
configuration interfering with the site.
