Follow-up Comment #3, bug #56345 (project octave):

I can confirm that the test passes if I use

LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 octave octave_figure_qt.m


So, it seems that the bug is in nouveau_dri.so where it occurs.

I will add a "export LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1" to my .bashrc file to fix the
problem. Thanks a lot for that hint.
