Did you get Octave started somehow yet?

If not, can you give us more information about your system and MS Windows
installation:

- Is your system a 64-bit system?
- Which MS Windows version do you use?
- Did you face any errors or suspicious behavior during the installation?
- Does the installation location (for example "C:\octave") exist, is it
readable?
- Do you use any Virus-Scanner/Malware protection software?
- Can you start Octave ("C:\octave\octave.vbs") from the windows command
prompt "cmd.exe" and see some errors there?
