Details:

Has someone done even simple checking on this interface ... almost unusable,
and I haven't got the inclination to work out a whole series of workarounds
for the gotchas ...

Screamingly obvious is that the right mouse click is completely unrealiable,
sometimes have to try a half dozen times before it doesn't immediately clear
the window that is supposed to sit there, waiting for user input; but far
worse is that changes in the editor don't register! Alter a line, click Save
File and Run - and the old version of the line is what it processes! Saving
the file from the menu doesn't help - the only way I could get the program to
parse the updated text was to close Octave, and restart it ...

At the moment I have completely lost confidence in this software package ...
