Follow-up Comment #4, bug #55937 (project octave): @mtmiller, Re comment #2: yes, either IDASetJacFn or IDADlsSetJacFn and either IDASetLinearSolver or IDADlsSetLinearSolver and either SUNLinSol_Dense or SUNDenseLinearSolver are required. If any of these functions is missing sundials should be disabled altogether.
