Details:
Debian pays a lot of attention to the build reproducibility of its packages.
Currently, the octave-communications package is not building reproducibly. The
problem comes (partly) from the fact that the documentation figures in PDF
format are not generated in a deterministic way. The patch attached to this
bug report fixes the problem by passing seeds as arguments to the awgn and
randsrc calls.
Please, consider applying this patch in the next release of the communications
package.
