Follow-up Comment #31, bug #47950 (project octave): I found I had that faulty build still installed at work. What I get is: >> dname = 'C:\users\Nienhu01\java' dname = C:\users\Nienhu01\java >> __wglob__ (dname) ans = { [1,1] = C:usersNienhu01java } To set the record straight: It seems javaaddpath invoked directly works all right => it is the dir() command invoked through PKG_ADD (when loading io package) that gives problems.
