Follow-up Comment #26, bug #48474 (project octave): >Ethan Merritt repeatedly said that the cairo-based are preferred terminals; "x11", "windows" are legacy. So I do not think it is a good idea to have a work-around in octave to work with those terminals. As a windows binary builder of gnuplot, I can say that windows terminal is not Obsolete and well maintained by Bastein who works extensively on gnuplot on windows. (I found that it is already mentioned by Dan Sebald) I have posted a similar discussion on maintainers list http://octave.1599824.n4.nabble.com/mxe-octave-cairo-based-and-lua-tikz-terminals-supports-of-gnuplot-build-in-mxe-octave-td4677264.html but no reply has been returned. This is a chance to discuss again. So I add the description to use full feature gnuplot on the wiki. http://wiki.octave.org/Octave_for_Microsoft_Windows#gnuoplot _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?48474> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
