Update of bug #46695 (project octave):
Category: Plotting with OpenGL => Configuration and Build
System
Severity: 3 - Normal => 2 - Minor
Status: None => Need Info

Follow-up Comment #1:
Is this still reproducible? Any specific checks or options we can add to
configure to work around this? My distribution does not have any of these NX
libraries available, so I have no way to test or reproduce this on my end.
If the library is somehow installing itself as a replacement for the normal
libX11, but is not actually working as such, that might be a packaging bug or
a bug with the library itself. Octave's configure can and does reasonably test
libraries for some indicator that they are working, but cannot exhaustively
test for every function until the build actually gets going.
