Update of bug #46754 (project octave): Depends on: => bugs #44712 _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #3: Matlab's documentation is clear about the dos() command and how it handles system on a Windows platform. Does Matlab also redirect stdout and stderr to a single stream on Unix platforms? That would be worth testing. Most Octave developers work on Linux and it is very unconventional to redirect stderr to stdout without specifically being requested to do so by the programmer. This is a duplicate of bug #44712. I'm going to close this report and leave that one open. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?46754> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
