Follow-up Comment #1:
With the data provided you'll never get reconcilable results. This is not part
of a Numeric Software to correct corrupted data with NaNs. To get your job
done, ask where the NaNs come from, filter the data and properly use the
routine interp2 according to the documentation.
I leave this bug report open, in case someone is willing to provide a check
for NaNs and warn as Matlab does.
