Follow-up Comment #5, bug #45356 (project octave):
Can anyone confirm that the patch will also fix the following strange
behavior:
plot ([0:2])
axis([1.01 3])
get(gca,"xtick")
ans =
1.0000 1.5000 2.0000 2.5000 3.0000
The *actual* xticks displayed in the figure are *[1.2 1.4 1.6 1.8 2 2.2 2.4
2.6 2.8 3]*.
This seems similar to the problem discussed below, but is *not* related to
ticks going beyond the displayed axis limits. Rather, the "xticks" property
misses entries within the xlim range.
