[Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #44166] make check fails to start in build directory

Follow-up Comment #4, bug #44166 (project octave):

After cloning with hg, I did a build in the src tree.
Then, did a 'make distclean'
Then, created a build directory, config, etc.
Make distclean did not clean up like I expected.

Today, I removed the src tree and build tree,
then:
> hg clone http://www.octave.org/hg/octave
> cd octave
> ./bootstrap
> cd ../octave-build
> ../octave/configure
> make -j6
> make check
...
Summary:

  PASS     12799
  FAIL         0
  XFAIL       14
  SKIPPED     59
...
210 (of 872) .m files have no tests.
...
> ./run-octave
