Follow-up Comment #4:
Per your desire, this issue has been changed to "Documentation" from "Feature
Request".
The function 'which' is implemented as an m-file in which.m. It is therefore
easy to modify the help string and submit a patch to resolve this issue. It
would probably also be useful, when creating the patch, to put a @seealso
reference to the function exist().
