URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?30650> Summary: mkdir should create hierarchy Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: forkandwait Submitted on: Wed 04 Aug 2010 06:42:17 PM GMT Category: None Severity: 3 - Normal Item Group: Feature Request Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: forkandwait Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 3.2.4 Operating System: Microsoft Windows _______________________________________________________ Details: Currently mkdir fails if given intermediate directories such that it would be necessary to create a hierarchy. This is NOT conformable to M*, and it would be useful to have this feature (see below for a discussion). JWE has also said he would consider a patch. http://octave.1599824.n4.nabble.com/recursive-mkdir-DIR-s-mylib-mkdir-DIR-s-td1629148.html _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?30650> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
