Follow-up Comment #1, bug #29747 (project octave):
Xlib.h is found in the development libraries for X11. On a Debian/Ubuntu
system the package is libx11-dev. It should be named something similar on
most other Linux distributions.
For getting help on building Octave you are probably better off to ask on the
help mailing list (address@hidden) rather than filing a bug report
here.
