I believe I have recalled just enough of my rapidly-degrading CVS
knowledge to merge the autoconf script. I had nearly forgotten how
cumbersome version control could be.
I had also mentioned the possibility of replacing the OCamlMakefile
with a relatively short ocamlbuild script. Do the other maintainers
have an opinion on this? If there is interest, I would take the time
to polish the experimental build script I have sitting around.
