Hi Matteo,

As far as I know, nufw does not act as a captive portal, however, it can be 
integrated with squid to work as an active portal without too much trouble.

We've setup an active portal type app, where, http traffic is directed to 
squid.  
If the traffic is authenticated by nufw, then the user does not get prompted to 
login, however, if they don't have the nufw client, then they get a login, 
which will allow them to authenticate based on IP instead, set to timeout 
after a period of time.
