[Nss-mysql-users] problem with glibc 2.3.2 and mysql 3.23.56

I upgraded my redhat8.0 system with glibc 2.3.2-4.80.6 and mysql
3.23.56-1.80 and now I am not able run nss-mysql. When I add the line

passwd files mysql nisplus
shadow files mysql nisplus
group files mysql nisplus

I am not able to start mysql database. When I remove mysql from
nsswitch.conf only then I am able to start mysql database. It used to work
fine with redhat8.0 without the upgrade.

What is the problem ?
