[Nmh-workers] nmh's Temporary Directory: ~/mail.

Hi,

Just noticed my backups having a lot of temporary files matching
mhshow??????, mhfixmsg??????, etc., in ~/mail.  This is because
m_mktemp() uses the first of $MHTMPDIR, $TMPDIR, ~/mail and I haven't
bothered setting $TMPDIR because I'm happy with the rest of the world's
default of /tmp.

Anyone know why nmh uses ~/mail instead of /tmp?  The latter may well be
tmpfs so no disk is hit, and cleaning it isn't nmh's problem.
