I interpreted the original request as meaning that the commands
are "proper" curses applications i.e; dividing the terminal into
windows of content that are displayed and interacted with via
newwin(3X), getch(3X), echo/tputs(3X), etc. Think elm/pine/mutt
vs. more; the former are curses, the latter is not.
As opposed to simply fetching info about terminal size to
determine the proper dimensions to use when dumping a stream
of information to STDOUT.
