Dear maintainer(s),

[Snaps are universal Linux packages] [1] that can be installed and run on many GNU+Linux distributions with ease.  I've been following the [Snapcrafters] [2] instructions and [have built a working snap on the Snap Store] [3], you may try it by running the following commands after [installing snapd] [4]:

    # snap install --channel=edge --devmode nano

I'm also looking forward to working with you to make the packaging work upstream (if you're interested).  You may want to check out the current [packaging recipe] [5], the [documentation] [6], registering a developer account on the [Snap Store] [7], and [get in touch with us] [8] to transfer the work under your control.

Thanks for your time and attention,
林博仁(Buo-ren, Lin)

PS. I have noticed the "[Nano-devel] how to remove a rogue snap from" post at <>, expect a reply in the near future.
