On my raspberry pi, running Raspbian GNU/Linux 9.4 (stretch), and on a
linux VT it erases one word with ctrl+delete and ctrl+keypad_delete
(with and without -K). The system where I tested it previously was an
x86 running ubuntu 16.04. Also, note that, in both cases, the keyboard
layout used is abnt2. So it is likely caused by some oddity in ubuntu.

Anyway, I can test it again on the x86 system by monday. Do you want
to test it again on the x86?
