You need -dev packages or equivalent.
On debian you need lablgtk2-ocaml-dev to compile mtn-viz.
It is likely to be the cause of this compilation failure.
Header files (.mli) and some source (.ml) files are needed in
your /usr/lib/ocaml/3.10.1/lablgtk2 directory.
