Just wanted to let you know: The assertion errors I got
during netsync are all gone with this version now, I have
successfully pushed and pulled the databases that used to
make the server crash earlier. Thanks!

The version does, however, still fail the netsync self-tests
on that other machine of mine, netsync seems to hang during
"make check" and I have to kill the process manually for the
test to continue.
