Hello,
I didn't find any place on the wiki nor manual on how to install and
configure the monit agent on Solaris.
Did I miss something, is there something about it in the manual ?
I used CSW to install it on Solaris 11 x86 64bit host. Now what? Where
is monitrc? How to launch the daemon? Maybe create an init script?
Here's the content of the CSW package:
# /usr/sbin/pkgchk -L CSWmonit # list files
/etc/opt/csw/pkg d none 0755 root bin CSWmonit
/etc/opt/csw/pkg/CSWmonit d none 0755 root bin CSWmonit
/etc/opt/csw/pkg/CSWmonit/cswmigrateconf f cswmigrateconf 0644 root bin
100 8357 1373376227 CSWmonit
/opt/csw/bin/amd64/monit f none 0755 root bin 787200 9457 1373376226
CSWmonit
/opt/csw/bin/monit=/opt/csw/bin/isaexec l none CSWmonit
/opt/csw/share/doc/monit d none 0755 root bin CSWmonit
/opt/csw/share/doc/monit/license f none 0644 root bin 35264 43087
1373376227 CSWmonit
/opt/csw/share/man/man1 d none 0755 root bin CSWpkgutil CSWmonit
/opt/csw/share/man/man1/monit.1 f none 0644 root bin 171084 54253
1373376226 CSWmonit
Thanks
