Hi,

I am trying to monitor our port 443/80 on lighttpd to check the service is up. I can connect to both these ports ok via a browser however monit keeps reporting them as connection failed.

Any ideas?

check process lighttpd

    with pidfile "/var/run/lighttpd.pid"

    start program = "/etc/init.d/lighttpd start"

    stop program = "/etc/init.d/lighttpd stop"

    if failed host 89.167.49.9 port 80 protocol HTTP then alert

    if failed host 89.167.49.9 port 443 type tcpSSL protocol HTTP then alert
